* The Purolite SST-60 Cation Gel Water Softening Resin is a polystyrene crosslinked DVB resin. The SST-60 resin is part of the family of high efficiency softening resins based on shallow shell technology. The shallow shell technology provides a shorter water diffusion path, providing a more rapid softening exchange.
* The Purolite SST group of resins provide unsurpassed salt efficiency, lower leakage, and reduced rinse water requirements compared to standard resins.
* When compared to conventional softening resins, regenerant reductions of 2 to 4 lbs. per cubic foot of resin per regeneration is possible using the SST water softening resin without sacrificing capacity or increasing leakages. This translates to a significant salt savings of 700 to 1,400 lbs. per cubic foot per year based on daily regenerations.
