* ATI’s Model A15/66 Residual Sulfite Ion Monitor offers an excellent solution to de-chlorination management
* This system allows constant measurement of residual sulfite ions over ranges of either 0-2 or 0-20 PPM
* An analog output from the monitor can be utilized for management of the chemical feed system to preserve a safe residual sulfite concentration rate while decreasing chemical expenses
* The A15/66 Monitor utilizes a unique approach to the measurement of residual sulfite ion concentration
* In operating, a small water sample is pumped into the system and blended with acid Through this acidic solution, the sulfite ion is converted to sulfur dioxide, and the mixed sample flows into a special chamber where the sulfur dioxide is removed from the sample
* A sensor located in the gas flow measures the released SO2 concentration and shows the results in terms of equivalent sulfite ion concentration
* An important attribute of the ATI Sulfite Ion Monitoring system is that the sensor does not come into contact with the wastewater sample
